Heidi Harrington-Johnson has bylines in Artforum International, Bookforum, Happy Mag, Lindsay, Monrowe, New York Magazine’s Bedford + Bowery, Savage Thrills and Vice Media’s Creators. Her work as a journalist was awarded for excellence by the United Nations, the National Institute of Hispanic Journalists recognized her writing with their Ruben Salazar Award and she was a Guernica magazine Fellow.

When she was a teenager, Heidi began modelling internationally. Based between London, New York and Sydney, she worked with a number of leading fashion brands including Acne Paper, Chanel, Christian Dior, Elle, Gloria Vanderbilt, Harper’s Bazaar, H&M, Lane Crawford, L’Officiel, Purple Magazine, Wonderland, Vogue, and Zimmermann.

Heidi graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Communications from the University of Sydney and is an alumna of the Women’s College. She was awarded a Master of Arts in Journalism (Cultural Reporting and Criticism) and a Departmental Fellowship by New York University. Currently, she manages communications at a not-for-profit organisation.
