ABOUT HEIDI HARRINGTON-JOHNSON
Heidi Harrington-Johnson writes for Artforum International, Monrowe, Vice Media’s Creators, Lindsay, Savage Thrills, and New York Magazine’s Bedford + Bowery. In 2017, Heidi graduated from New York University’s journalism program with a Master of Arts in Cultural Reporting and Criticism as a scholarship recipient. Her work as a journalist received an award for excellence by the United Nations, the National Institute of Hispanic Journalists recognized her writing with their Ruben Salazar Award, and she was a Guernica magazine fellow.
At the age of 14, Heidi began modeling internationally. Her career saw her working for a number of leading fashion brands including Acne Paper, Chanel, Christian Dior, Elle, Gloria Vanderbilt, Harpers Bazaar, H&M, Lane Crawford, L’Officiel, Purple Magazine, Wonderland, Vogue, and Zimmerman. Born to a family of immigrants, she has lived in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Hong Kong, Sydney, London, Milan, Paris, and New York, and has traveled to more than 30 countries.
